What is Fresh Intel?
A solution that predicts fresh produce shelf life and guides smart logistics to improve operational efficiencies, reduce waste and deliver more consistent product quality.
Fresh Intel models, provided as part of the Serviced Supply Chains II project, deliver insight into fruit quality in the supply chain.
How does Fresh Intel work?
Fresh Intel links to consignment tracking technology to monitor product freshness. Predictive analytics combines shelf-life modelling, fruit quality and supply chain handling data to inform storage and distribution decisions that support ‘first-expired, first-out’ inventory management.
Fresh Intel is available for selected varieties of avocados, mangoes, nectarines, and plums.
How can I access Fresh Intel?
Fresh Intel shelf-life calculators will soon be available for registered users of this site. Stay tuned for more information. We are partnering with Escavox to deliver a real-time shelf-life prediction solution.
